Position Overview:

Country Club of Roswell is seeking an energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic Summer Camp Lead to help create a fun, safe, and engaging camp experience for our members’ children. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids, thrives in a team environment, and can confidently lead activities while maintaining a positive and organized atmosphere.

The Summer Camp Lead will assist in planning and supervising daily camp activities, support camp counselors, and help ensure campers have a memorable and well-structured summer.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise daily camp activities including games, crafts, outdoor play, and themed events.
Create a welcoming, inclusive, and fun environment for campers of varying ages.
Ensure camper safety and enforce camp policies and procedures.
Assist with activity planning, setup, and cleanup.
Coordinate with the Director of Member Experience on camp structure, campers, and day-to-day operations.
Communicate professionally with parents, members, and other club staff.
Support and guide camp counselors as needed.
Manage transitions between activities and maintain daily schedules.
Handle minor conflicts or behavioral situations calmly and appropriately.
Help maintain organized activity spaces and equipment.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Experience working with children required.
Previous summer camp or youth program experience preferred.
CPR and/or Lifeguard certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Comfortable working outdoors in summer weather.
Ability to stay energetic, patient, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment .

Availability:

Monday-Friday.
8 am-4 pm or 9 am-5 pm, hours may vary.

Compensation:

Hourly, $16-$19/ hour based off experience.
