Position Overview:
Country Club of Roswell is seeking an energetic, responsible, and enthusiastic Summer Camp Lead to help create a fun, safe, and engaging camp experience for our members’ children. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids, thrives in a team environment, and can confidently lead activities while maintaining a positive and organized atmosphere.
The Summer Camp Lead will assist in planning and supervising daily camp activities, support camp counselors, and help ensure campers have a memorable and well-structured summer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise daily camp activities including games, crafts, outdoor play, and themed events.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and fun environment for campers of varying ages.
- Ensure camper safety and enforce camp policies and procedures.
- Assist with activity planning, setup, and cleanup.
- Coordinate with the Director of Member Experience on camp structure, campers, and day-to-day operations.
- Communicate professionally with parents, members, and other club staff.
- Support and guide camp counselors as needed.
- Manage transitions between activities and maintain daily schedules.
- Handle minor conflicts or behavioral situations calmly and appropriately.
- Help maintain organized activity spaces and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Experience working with children required.
- Previous summer camp or youth program experience preferred.
- CPR and/or Lifeguard certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Comfortable working outdoors in summer weather.
- Ability to stay energetic, patient, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment .
Availability:
- Monday-Friday.
- 8 am-4 pm or 9 am-5 pm, hours may vary.
Compensation:
- Hourly, $16-$19/ hour based off experience.
